Each year volunteers from Wisbech in Bloom make up, hang up, water and feed, take down and empty nearly 200 hanging baskets as well as a variety of containers and barrier baskets. Apart from an annual grant of £600 from Wisbech Town Council the cost (almost £3000) has to be raised by sponsorship. We are grateful to the town centre residents and businesses who support us year after year but we do need more sponsors to enable us to cover our costs.

Our sponsorship of just £30 for a basket watered for 16 weeks is far cheaper than nearby towns. If you are a resident or business in the town centre and have not had hanging baskets on your premises before then why not join in and help us retain our GOLD award in 2009.

If anyone would like to sponsor a basket in the town centre to remember a special friend or relative then we would be pleased to dedicate a basket in Market Place, Museum Square or North Brink.
